[BLAD621] William Bland married (at Ripley, 19th May 1688 IGI) [TURP622] Dorothy Turpin (see TURPIN). They had at least two children:

James (baptised at Ripley, 26th April 1691 IGI), died young, and was buried at Ripley (28th December 1694 IGI);

[BLAD631] James (baptised at Ripley, 25th December 1701 IGI), married Ann ---, see later.

[BLAD631] James Bland (born 1701) and Ann had six children, born at Skelton-upon-Ure, and baptised at Ripon as follows:

twin Ann (baptised 28th January 1723/4);

[BLAD641] twin James (baptised 28th January 1723/4), married Dorothy Rumphet, see later;

Elizabeth (-), died at Skelton (buried at Ripon, 22nd February 1732/3);

Thomas (baptised 24th March 1731/2), lived 2 weeks;

Mary (baptised 11th March 1734/5), never married, and died at Skelton (buried at Ripon, 26th April 1784);

Dorothy (baptised 29th June1739).

James died at Skelton-upon-Ure (buried at Ripon, 20th July 1742), and Ann died at Skelton-upon-Ure also (buried at Ripon, 10th September 1743).

[BLAD641] James Bland (born 1724) of Skelton-upon-Ure married (at Kirby Hill, 12th November 1747) [RUMP642] Dorothy Rumphet (born 1717, see RUMPHET), of Brampton in Kirby Hill.

They had three children born at Skelton, and baptised at Ripon as follows:

William (baptised 22nd October 1748);

[BLAD652] Ann (baptised 27th October 1750), married (at Ripon, 1st December 1771) [TOES651] James Toes (born 1749, see TOES);

James (baptised 17th March 1753), married Grace Baxter, of Marton on the Moor.

Dorothy died at Skelton-upon-Ure (buried at Ripon, 5th June 1799), and James died at Skelton-upon-Ure also (buried at Ripon, 30th September 1804).
