7.  [BLAD631] James Bland and Ann had six children born at Skelton-upon-Ure, and baptised at Ripon as follows:

• twin Ann (baptised 28th January 1723-24);

• 6. twin [BLAD641] James (baptised 28th January 1723-24), see later;

• Elizabeth (-), died at Skelton (buried at Ripon, 22nd February 1732-33);

• Thomas (baptised 24th March 1731-32), lived 2 weeks;

• Mary (baptised 11th March 1734-35), never married, and died at Skelton (buried at Ripon, 26th April 1784);

• Dorothy (baptised 29th June1739).

James died at Skelton-upon-Ure (buried at Ripon, 20th July 1742), and Ann died at Skelton-upon-Ure also (buried at Ripon, 10th September 1743).

6.  [BLAD641] James Bland (born 1724) of Skelton-upon-Ure married (at Kirby Hill, 12th November 1747) [RUMP642] Dorothy Rumphet (born 1717, see RUMPHET), of Brampton in Kirby Hill.

They had three children born at Skelton, and baptised at Ripon as follows:

• William (baptised 22nd October 1748);

• 5. [BLAD652] Ann (baptised 27th October 1750), see later;

• James (baptised 17th March 1753), married (at Kirby Hill, 12th December 1776) Grace Baxter, of Marton on the Moor.

Dorothy died at Skelton-upon-Ure (buried at Ripon, 5th June 1799), and James died at Skelton-upon-Ure also (buried at Ripon, 30th September 1804).
