9.  [CLAK611] Anthony Clarke married 1. (at Thirkleby, 20th May 1673) Mary Johnson, both of Great Thirkleby. Mary died at Great Thirkleby (February 1687-88), and three months later, Anthony married 2. (at Thirkleby, 20th May 1688) [TYSO612] Jane Tyson, both of Great Thirkleby. Anthony & Jane had two children born at Great Thirkleby, and baptised there as follows:

• 8. [CLAK622] Jane (baptised 30th July 1690), see later;

• Mary (baptised 25th April 1697).

Anthony died at Great Thirkleby (19th May 1714, and was buried there 21st May 1714), and Jane died at Great Thirkleby also (buried there, 20th December 1737).

• 8. [CLAK622] Jane Clarke (born 1690, daughter of Anthony & Jane) married (at Thirkleby, 1st May 1712) [WILS621] Henry Wilson (see WILSON).
