11.  [FOWL591] William Fowler married (at Felixkirk, 27th September 1607) [CHAM592] Agnes Chapman. They had seven children born at Sutton, and baptised at Felixkirk as follows:

• Dorothy (baptised 23rd October 1608), died (age 4) at Sutton (buried at Felixkirk, 17th April 1613);

• Elizabeth (baptised 25th November 1610);

• Thomas (baptised 7th October 1613);

• Wilfred (baptised 10th December 1620);

• William (baptised 24th September 1624);

• Dorothy (baptised 7th June 1629).

10.  [FOWL601] Richard Fowler (born 1617) and his wife had three children born at Sutton, and baptised at Felixkirk as follows:

• Richard (baptised 19th November 1654);

• Jane (baptised 2nd November 1656).

Richard died at Sutton (buried at Felixkirk, 19th March 1674-75).

9.  [FOWL611] Elizabeth Fowler (born 1648, daughter of Richard), who never married, had an illegitimate child born at Thirlby, baptised at Felixkirk as follows:

8.  [FOWL621] John Fowler (born 1670, son of Elizabeth) and his wife Anne had eight children born at Sutton, and baptised at Felixkirk as follows:

• John (baptised 22nd March 1693-94);

• Mary (baptised 23rd February 1695-96);

• William (baptised 8th February 1697-98);

• Thomas (baptised 27th July 1700);

• Jane (baptised 15th September 1702);

• 7. [FOWL631] Christopher (baptised 23rd January 1704-05), see later;

• Frances (born c.1705); married (at Felixkirk, 7th December 1731) William Cothorn;

• Ann (baptised 13th March 1710-11), died (age 4) at Sutton (buried at Felixkirk, 18th April 1715).

Anne died at Sutton (buried at Felixkirk, 16th January 1730-31), and John died at Sutton also (nine months later, buried at Felixkirk, 19th October 1731).

7.  [FOWL631] Christopher Fowler (born 1765), a yeoman, married (at Felixkirk, 20th May 1735) [BUTY632] Isabell Buttery (born 1713, see BUTTERY).

They had seven children born at Sutton, and baptised at Felixkirk as follows:

• John (baptised 20th April 1736);

• Anne (baptised 4th October 1739);

• Christopher (baptised 26th June 1745);

• William (baptised 30th March 1748), died age 12 months, buried at Felixkirk (22nd March 1748-49);

• Mary (baptised 4th September 1750);

• Frances (baptised 6th November 1753), married (at Leake, 3rd November 1782) George Hardisty.

Isabell died at Sutton (buried at Felixkirk, 22nd October 1769). Christopher, latterly described as being a “cowper”, died at Kirby Knowle (buried at Felixkirk, 19th June 1789).
