23.  [GORG471] Ivo de Gorges, of Tamworth, died 1236.

22.  [GORG481] Sir Ralph de Gorges of Wraxall (Somerset) married 1. Margaret (daughter of Robert Foliot); then 2. [MORX472] Alianore (daughter of John de Morville, see MORVILLE, all Dorset families). Ralph was Constable of Sherborne and Exeter, later Sheriff of Devonshire (1266-67), accompanied Prince Edward to the Holy Land (1270), and died c.1271. Elena died 1292.

[GORG491] Master Thomas de Gorges (son of Sir Ralph & Margaret), Canon of Wells Cathedral. The Calendar of Patent Rolls (October 8 1301) records that the house of Master Thomas de Gorges at Congresbury (Som), was broken into and goods were stolen.
