30.  [HESD331] Arnulf/Ernulf de Hesdin (born c.1038, descended from the Counts of Hesdin in Flanders), Seigneur of Hesdin, Picardy, was subsequently a large land-owner at the Domesday Survey, with land in Beds, Berks, Dorset, Gloucs, Hants, Hunts, Middlesex, Oxon, Somerset and Wilts. His arms were "Azure three escallops Or". He married Ameline. He was killed on a crusade, at Antioch.
