29. [SLIZ361] Simon de St. Liz married (probably 1090) [NTHM349] Maud (eldest daughter of Earl Waltheof, see above) and thereby became 2nd Earl of Northampton (1090-1111). He was a benefactor to Daventry Priory, and probably built St. Sepulchre's, Northampton, (c.1108). Afterwards Maud married King David I of Scotland (see below).
