31. [RETH341] Manasses II, Count of Rethel (1032-56), married [ROUC342] Judith de Roucy (daughter of Count Gilbert, see ROUCY COUNTY). He died c.1081. [The existence of a Manasses III appears to be an error.]

30. [RETH351] Hugh I (born c.1050), Count of Rethel (1065-1118), married [MON3343] Melisende (see MONTLHERY). He died 28th December 1118.

29. [RETH361] Gervase (born c.1075, younger son of Hugh), Count of Rethel (1118-24), married (c.1104) [NAMU363] Elisabeth de Namur (see NAMUR COUNTY). He died 1124, and afterwards Elizabeth married 2. Sir Roger de Clerembaut de Rozoy. Elizabeth died 1144.

28. [RETH379] Milicent (born c.1110, daughter of Gervase) said to have married 1. [MARM431] Robert (see MARMION), killed 1143; then 2. [CAMR441] Sir Richard II of Stanton (see CAMVILLE).

The last two entries imply that Elizabeth married her sister Milicent's son. There is clearly an unresolved contradiction here involving two Robert Marmion's, father and son. The Stirnet web-site favours Elizabeth marrying Robert de Marmion, and is here accepted, though it is quite likely this also is an error.
