37.  [RIBA281] Raymond I de Ribagorce (born c.865, son of [BIGE271] Count Loup (see BIGORRE). Raymond, hereditary Count of Ribagorca & Paihars (872-916), purchased  the city of Saragossa (884) from Mohammed ibn Lope, the then head of the Beni-Casi family who had captured it. (Mohammed was the son of [LOPE271] Lope ibn Musa, Governor of Saragossa etc, see BANU QASI Tribe.) Raymond married 1. Guinigenta Asnarez (daughter of 38. Aznar Dato); then 2. --- (born c.865, daughter of the Moor Chieftain Mutarrif ibn Lope, presumably also son of [LOPE271] Lope ibn Musa). He died 916.

36.  [RIBA291] Bernard I aka Unifred (son of Raymond & Guinigenta), Count of Ribagorce (916-50), married [AROZ273] Toda of Aragon (daughter of Count Galindo II, see ARAGON COUNTY). He died after 956.
