[WALK611] Edmund Walker m. [BTON612] Elizabeth Burton . [WALK621] Edmund Walker m. [HADW622] Jane Hadwen . . [WALK632] Margaret Walker m. [SPIC631] James Spicer
9. [WALK611] Edmund Walker married (at Kirkby Lonsdale, 5th April 1655) [BTON612] Elizabeth Burton, both of Middleton. They had six children baptised at Kirkby Lonsdale as follows :
[WALK623] Myles (born at Middleton, baptised 13th September 1657), married (at Kirkby Lonsdale, 12th November 1681) Anne Robinson. They had at least one son, born at Middleton and baptised at Kirkby Lonsdale as follows:
[WALK633] Edmund (baptised 17th September 1682), married (-) Alice Cragg. The will of Edmund Walker (yeoman of Hollins [near Beckside Hall] in Middleton), (will dated 23rd April, proved 12th June 1751), refers to his wife Alice formerly Cragg, and his son & heir Christopher Walker. It is unlikely that the details of this Edmund and his uncle [WALK621] Edmund (see below) should be transposed, as it would mean this Edmund married whilst age 18 years; but this remains a remote possibility;
Bryan (born at Middleton, baptised 23rd August 1662);
8. [WALK621] Edmund (born at Middleton, baptised 30th August 1664), presumably married Jane Hadwen, see later;
Margret (born in Kirkby Lonsdale parish, baptised 18th October 1667), died young;
Elizabeth (born at Barbon, baptised 5th March 1670-71);
Margret (born in Kirkby Lonsdale parish, baptised 28th January 1672-73).
Elizabeth died at Barbon (buried at Kirkby Lonsdale, 3rd January 1674-75). Shortly afterwards Edmond died at Fell House [at Barbon] (buried at Kirkby Lonsdale, 28th February 1674-75).
8. [WALK621] Edmund Walker (born 1664) married (at Kirkby Lonsdale, 15th February 1700-01) [HADW622] Jane Hadwen (born 1674, see HADWEN), both of Middleton. They had five children born and baptised at Middleton as follows:
Elizabeth (baptised 6th June 1702);
Mary (baptised 4th January 1703-04);
7. [WALK632] Margaret (baptised 21st May 1706), married James Spicer, see later;
Jane (baptised 15th August 1708);
Agnes (baptised 2nd November 1712), died at Middleton (buried there 5th February 1716-17).
Edmund died at Middleton (buried there 3rd February 1744-45), and Jane died (age 88) at Middleton also (buried there 2nd May 1762).
7. [WALK632] Margaret Walker (born 1706, daughter of Edmund) married (at Sedbergh, 7th May 1737) [SPIC631] James Spicer (born 1713, see SPICER).
